Hello! and welcome to Imperial AKC Chihuahuas! We are not a large breeding kennel. We are a small show/hobby home full of Chihuahua's. Please browse through our site and take a look at the little creatures who have captivated our hearts!
Our goal is to produce puppies which are a strong representation of the Chihuahua breed standard. We are committed to the betterment of the breed. We don't market "teacup" "micro" etc. This is merely a "catch" phrase intended to market puppies. Chihuahua's according to the breed standard are long or smooth coat, and should weight between 2-6 lbs.
Take it from me, chihuahuas are addictive, so BEWARE, no one can have just one! However, they are not a breed for everyone! DO YOUR HOMEWORK!
Despite the popular notion, chihuahuas are not mean yappy little dogs. If well bred, socialized, and taken care of, they are a true delight. They are one of the sweetest, loving and loyal breeds I have ever owned. SMART, smart, smart.....So smart, I think they have their owners trained long before we ever get the chance!
